Renae is the third oldest of 11 children, wife to her best friend Tony for over 15 years, and dog mom to a very needy (but lovable) Treeing Walker Coonhound named Hank. She works as an executive assistant in the financial industry and is also the host of The Routine Advantage Podcast, where she helps women create simple routines to reduce stress and feel more peace at home. She has a purpose-driven mission to help women build lives they don’t need a break from.
I married my wonderful husband, Tony, in 2009. As our marriage has grown, we have realized the importance of communication and learning how to do all aspects of life together. When we were struggling with finances in our earlier years of marriage, we had to get on the same page and create a budget routine. Tired of money causing stress, we worked together to get out of debt and we became more of a team than we ever had before. I'm grateful to have someone by my side that I get to do life with that is also my best friend.
Our Treeing Walker Coonhound, Hank, is a rescue that we adopted in 2020. He came to us in Minnesota from Alabama and quickly adjusted to the changing seasons. (He thought snow was odd at first, but now he never misses a chance to bury his entire head in a fresh snowbank!)
He loves Tony for the games and rough-housing and he comes to me for the snuggles. :) Hank never lets us forget about his daily walks so he can get outside to sniff out a scent trail! This makes it easier for me to stay consistent about getting daily movement by doing it right away during my morning routine!
I am a born and raised Catholic and wouldn't change it for the world. The older I get, the more interested I become in learning more about my faith. If I'm ever feeling overwhelmed or stressed, there is nothing quite like silencing distractions, grabbing my Bible, and soaking in some quiet time with the Lord.
Looking back, the signs of entrepreneurship were there from the beginning — like the time my brother and I set up a "rock booth" in our garage to sell random rocks to our grandparents (our first very supportive customers). That same drive to run a business has stuck with me into adulthood, where I've juggled multiple side hustles while working full-time trying to find "my thing."
I’ve always felt pulled to help others and create more freedom in my own life. And it turns out, routines were the key. In 2023, I sat down with a journal and had a moment of clarity: all those years of refining habits, building systems, and figuring out how to keep up with all the things weren’t just helping me stay organized — they were pointing me toward my purpose.
Now, I get to take everything I’ve learned and use it to help other women build lives that feel organized, balanced, and full of intention.
Renae finds joy in creative projects like graphic design and spreadsheets, and also in the little things — like hot coffee, crisp morning air, erasable pens, quiet movie nights, and weekends with family.
After years of tweaking how she managed life, marriage, and work, Renae realized her success came down to five key routines that helped her stay organized and less overwhelmed. That clarity led to her passion for helping other women do the same. Whether it's budgeting as a team with her husband, staying consistent about morning walks with Hank, or creating time for quiet faith-filled moments, routines have become her foundation.
